yamaha apx700 electro acoustic guitar
Electro-acoustic guitars?
Hello everyone! For my birthday, I get a guitar. I'm not really interested at this time guitar electric, so I will get a sound. However, the only good I think (and I would like in black) is the Yamaha CPX700/APX700 - which is an Electro-acoustic. Want to know a few things if possible: 1. What is the difference between CPX700 and APX700? Both are the same price, I think it is thicker than the other, but how does sound, etc? 2. T he sound of electro-Acoustic Guitar different from ANY sound? 3. Do I need an amplifier to play, and will be the same volume as a guitar when no noise amplifier? Thanks, great help appreciated!
Ok, the APX700 has a thin neck is not as strong overall. The CPX700 has a neck thick, but it sounds much better when plugged into a amp. They sound very similar when it is plugged in. No, you do not need an amplifier, but if you play harder or distorted then you should get one. Electric-acoustic guitars do not sound different than acoustic guitars, unless connected to an amplifier. Ma recommendation CPX700 is getting will be a bit thicker neck, but worth it and great sound without an amplifier up to what you choose to get one.
