I really don't know about that particular brand of guitar, but from personal experience I can say that's probably your best bet.
About 2 years ago I bought a very basic First Act guitar with nothing fancy on it. But it did last me a good years and a half (until i got better and bought a new and better one.) Besides, it does have a 30 day warranty. Plus, like i am currently doing with the First Act guitar, You Can always upgrade it with new pickups and stuff like that.
It's your choice ultimately, but i would say that it is ok.
