why does trans oil come out of the over flow tube on my 1993 jimmy only does it in the summer months?

when you have been driving for about 30 minutes at 65 mph and you come to a complete stop oil comes out of the over flow vent tube. it only does this in the hottest part of the day in the summer. it did it last yr at the end of the summer. when winter came i forgot about it. now that its summer my problem is back. i have a 1993 gmc jimmy 4x4 with a 4.3 vortec engine. since it came with factory towing i am assuming it has a Heavy Duty automatic tranny.
by the way it is not over full and it has a new transmission filter in it

way too much tranny oil, vac problem? NOT , electronic trans-electric shift solenoids not a shift vaccuum modulator. Flush transmission with a flush machine, at that time You Can determine if the trans cooler/lines are restricted. Check fluid level in transfer case, the oil seals between trans and transfer case may be leaking. Oil from trans is leaking into transfer case causing transfer case to overflow very, very common. Verify its coming out of trans vent and not the t-case vent.
