What are your favorite road songs? Ones you play while driving on trips.?

I like early Bob Seger - Katmandu, Travelin Man, Turn the Page, etc.
Bon Jovi is always good to. One of my favorites is "Have a Nice Day" - His older stuff is the best tho.

One classic song for driving is "Radar Love" - by Golden Earring

Ahh!! Radar Love!! I love that song!! but, I prefer White Lion's version...
Humm..for road trips...I prefer 80s pop, Bon Jovi, Poison, AC/DC...and 80s 'latin rock' bands: Soda Stereo, Enanitos Verdes, G.I.T., Virus (Argentinian), LosPrisioneros, Aparato Raro, Valija Diplomatica (Chilean).
80s were great years for Argentinian and Chilean musicians...specially Argentinian...Soda Stereo are like the Beatles for English-speaking countries!! They even made a 'goodbye tour' around Latinamerica in 1997! I went to that one too!

But basically, upbeat, fun music in general...can't stand folcklore, R&B, Soul, or anything too soft for roadtrips...I like to sing & dance while in the car!! LOL it's fun!

There's no such thing as the best but pretty close is the Taylor 914ce. It sells for $3999 and is worth every penny.

TheDarkY The answer is clear. It is always a personal choice of each guitarist. However, in my experience of 52 years of playing, I prefer the Martin, Taylor and Gibson acoustics. For me, the HD-35 Martin best suits my style of play and personality.

Can anyone recommend a Guitar Amp ...?

I'm looking to spend about $ 300 - $ 500 that I was looking at amps Around of the local music shop, but I mixed reviews published (ie, behringer not be as good, Marshall is your best bet, stay away from the line 6, etc, etc) I thought finding a Behringer LX-110 or VT30FX Marshall MG30FX or because they are on sale this will be my first amplifier but been playing Acoustic Guitar for a few years, even if people know I have a guitar too

OK. Forget a Behringer, and you get a Marshall or any other Fender amplifier. It's just my opinion but I have owned and Behringer Fender and Marshall before.

Is San Diego State has a program of good music jazz or commercial music majors?

I'm in the middle of my first semester at Cal State Fullerton jazz studies to focus on the guitar, but I am considering SDSU, because it is cheaper for me to live a wise and only a better network of people available. What rank in the jazz program SDSU / non-classical school? I think electro-acoustic main (BM) to the modern composition, recording, so I think you want to transfer, but I will not make a mistake. Any ideas?

It's not safe to SDSU, but to give a little help at least .. Believe it or not San Diego Community College near San Diego jazz scene when it comes to schools in San Diego and radio. Check it out! This is one of my favorite radio stations www.jazz88.org
