Why isnt my floyd rose staying in tune?
I havent changed to new strings, so yea. still the same ones i've had for a while. But, the locking nuts at the top of the neck are worn out from using the allen wrench, and i cannot tighten them properly, so the strings are not properly tig htened down.Would this be the reason thye are not staying in tune? cause one go of the Whammy Bar and it goes out of tune. It hasnt done this at all since today.
Should i consider new screws? thanks!
Absolutely, those screws would cause that. Those screws have to be toit, toit like a toiger, to be effective. If they're properly tightened you should be able to push the bar so far down that the strings go completly floppy and still have it come back up as if nothing ever happened. I haven't had to retune my guitar since the last time I changed my strings because of that.
