LCD TV to blame for high electric bill?
So I bought a 42" LCD on May 15 and the bill covers May 15 to June 17. It doubled from around $45 to $90. I am assuming that it went up because of the TV, but I had no idea it would be that much! Has anyone else experienced a $50 increase in their bill due to an LCD TV?
I called the electric company and it turns out that pretty much everyone where I live has seen their electric bills go way up because of the weather. gotta love good ole' texas heat! thanks for the formula, the tv probably has not added enough to my bill for me to worry about it.
I was just going to ask you about air conditioning and location. That makes sense because when demand goes up for electricity, so does the price!!!
Well...even though you got the problem identified, here's a cool link that shows you what your home appliances use for electricity and how much that costs you: http://michaelbluejay.com/electricity/howmuch.html
