These days more girls are showing interest in playing the guitar. A pink electric guitar is on the top of their list of the most popular instruments to play. The pink guitar overall is really hot these days.
One of the pioneers for female electric guitar playing was Joan Jett. She helped to blaze a path for many of today's female guitar players and aspiring guitars. Playing an electric guitar is a great way for women and girls to express their creativity and feel a sense of freedom.
Today there are several guitar manufacturers that are making lighter weight, smaller guitars to target the female guitar playing market. Some of the companies include Daisy Rock and Luna. Gibson, Epiphone and Squier are also making guitars for females. The smaller, lighter weight guitars are easier for someone with smaller hands and a small body frame to play. They also are designing them to be aesthetically pleasing to girls. That's why pink electric guitars are in such abundance these days.
One very distinct pink electric guitar is Fender's Squire Hello Kitty Stratocaster. It is a genuine Strat Electric Guitar and features Hello Kitty smiling from a custom pickguard. It is bubble gum pink and comes with a fingerboard of 21 frets, maple neck, single volume control humbucker bridge pickup and chrome hardward. The Hello Kitty logo and graphics are also part of the design.
This pink electric guitar has a smaller neck than a standard Startocaster. This makes it easier for girls to play. It is still a full length, 21 fret guitar however. The Hello Kitty Startocaster has great sound and the sustain is unbelievable. The guitar is very well made and has a good balance to weight ratio with simple controls. It's a great electric guitar for Beginning Guitar players.
Daisy Rock's Debutante Rocky Candy pink electric guitar is another guitar. Daisy Rock is a guitar manufacturer that specializes in designing guitars for females. The Rock Candy petite's 22 1/2" scale is a perfect fit for smaller guitar players. This beautiful pink guitar features a slim neck and lightweight body. It has a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard along with chrome tuners, humbucker pickup and well control. This pink electric guitar is very well designed and made by a guitar manufacturer that understands what female electric guitar players want and need.
