The Fender Jazz Bass was launched in 1960 as a companion to low Jazzmaster guitar, Fender thought the neck design appeal more to jazz-neck is quite thick, but with a touch of hand. It also has a similar sound to serious problems such as the Rickenbacker 4001, with many media and your light.

Currently there are eight lines available on Jazz Standard Series, American Deluxe Series, American Standard Series, American Vintage Series Highway One Series, Classic Series, Custom Series Classic and Deluxe Series, all with different colors available. There are also 24-fret model, available with 4 or 5 strings. From 2005 is also a lower Jaguar, which is similar to the Jazz Bass, but with other switches to control electrical circuits as well as Jaguar guitar. (Indeed, one of the main reasons for the Jaguar has never been as successful as other Fender guitars is the presence of the electric complex making it more difficult to implement and use).

The Jazz Bass is maintained and is as popular as ever.
