Electro-Acoustic Guitar Yamaha APX 500 alternatives?

I thought to get an acoustic / Electric Guitar and APX Yammy has everything But what a solid laminate top is not allowed to resonate beautifully. Apx I like because it has a Great Shape, comes in red color I want, the price is right, and the population of the head is the style for me. But just in case, are there other APX guitars as in terms of form and style that are not rolled on top?

The APX 700 has a solid spruce top, which costs $ 200 more, but I'm sure it will be worth the time ... I, an APX 500, his guitar very well connected, but disconnected its too quiet for my taste, that's probably due to the high puff.
